Key Stage 4 & 5 Resources
In collaboration with LEAF Education, ADA has produced a range of geography curriculum resources for secondary school and sixth form pupils to help them to explore flood risk management across lowland Britain.
Flooding is often in the news in the UK, making it a topical issue that many students can relate to. We hope our resources on Countryside Classroom can enable young people to get out and visit our members and learn about their role in reducing flood risk. Doing so will help students to:
- understand processes within the physical environment,
- analyse evidence that describes the risk,
- evaluate the various impacts of different approaches to managing flooding,
- be able to consider the best way to respond to flooding in different circumstances.
