Summary	River basin management plans (RBMPs) describe the challenges that threaten the water environment and how these challenges can be managed and funded. The Environment Agency has a statutory duty to regularly consult upon the updates proposed to each RBMP. Consultation responses will be used to consider how some of the current approaches to the management of water in England will need to change over the medium and long term in response to the changing climate and a growing population.
